  • Product Additional Description

3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P100 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief D3097 has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate filters. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and filter and push until you hear a click. 3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P100 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief D3097 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3097 particulate filter may be used in a variety of applications such as metalworking, grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3097 particulate filters include metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. In addition, solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors. The D3097 may be used to help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials such as uranium and plutonium. It can also be used for asbestos. The D3097 is recommended for ozone protection up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL). The D3097 particulate filter is recommended for relief from nuisance levels of organic vapors. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding the OSHA PEL or other applicable government exposure limits, whichever is lower. The D3097 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contain hazardous levels of gases and vapors or when ozone concentrations exceed 10x the OSHA PEL.

Change your 3M Secure Click Particulate Filters P100 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief D3097 if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the filters after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants. 3M™ Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices.
